Nothing like a healthy dose of paranoia

So, its 5:30am and the whole sleeping thing isnt going so well.

Twice I've woken up during the night. First, I had quite a bad twinge over my left ovary.* Panic. Check to see if bleeding. Go back to sleep. Wake up again, generally paranoid. Check to see if bleeding. Decide sleep is a pointless endeavour.

Wake up Monkey Boy. Decide that lying in bed in the dark also pointless. Get up and check blog and email.

Realise that other people now know I'm...you know... Noticed there was some wanton bandying about of the p-word.

There will be none of that language around here thanks! Because, I'm not, you know... p-word. I just have two lines. Two lines and a 130.5. Two lines and a number. Not p-word.

* Unfortunately, I cant google "twinge near ovary pregnant" because I'd just get myself.

  1. Honey, I am so encouraged by your news and have been trying to read your archives to obsess over how I can get pregnant too. I am on Day 11 and I'm worried I ovulated tonight. We didn't have sex yesterday but did tonight. I had a quick cramp/stitch in my side (accompanied by diarreha!. Too much info.) I can't wait to hear more news from you.

I still get the odd O pain here and there (had one just last night) and matching this s&s with mine makes me believe take this isn't such a bad sign. It seems weird and I don't know why it happens but it does. All your seeds of doubt are totally normal and I'm having a paranoid day too so your in good company.

Comments make blogging a conversation, rather than mere self-indulgent navel-gazing. Look at that big empty space down there...just waiting for your thoughts.
