I know this is going to sound totally obscene, but Robbie Willliams is a complete and total unknown in the States. He was the guy no one knew in the movie 'De-Lovely' (awful movie with great music) with Kevin Kline as Cole Porter. Oh, and he also sang 'Beyond the Sea' over the closing credits of 'Finding Nemo.' But I do know him, because I read the Sun online. It's trash, I know, but at least I am half informed (see, I spotted him those two times) and can get excited for you. Enjoy!
I saw him in Melbourne in 2001. It was awsome. Full of British backpackers. I never really got into him until I came to UK in 1999 where until Angels, he wasn't really taken seriously. I'll email you privately with my little Stalking Robbie story.
Yup - Time of Charlemagne does not register this guy...
BTW - Wallaby brand yoghurt is apparently "Australian-style" by way of "extra CREAMY-ness" - good to know you come from the land of heightened creamitude, no? AND - said creme of Wallaby IS now the proven culprit... had some today and tooted all the way to a meeting. Wallaby be damned!
One of those surreal differences in the states. The only reason I know who he is, is because of a drunken month in Italy - where he was the only one on the radio that sang in English . . . every other song on the radio . . .

Comments make blogging a conversation, rather than mere self-indulgent navel-gazing. Look at that big empty space down there...just waiting for your thoughts.
