The delightful V bought me a very lovely birthday present. Tonight she pays up.
We're Going Down to Adelaide to Do Something....*
The question is; should I go the big Susannah Hoffs hair or not? I have the earrings. From 1985. Sad, I know.
Monkey Boy has already been muttering displeased things about His Son being forcefully exposed to Crap 80s Music.
*If you know the song I have horribly misquoted, I will love you forever.

ReplyDeleteNow just hold on a cotton-pickin' second. At NO POINT did I refer to the Spudelicious one as "My Son". I specifically referred to him as "Our Son", because we are BOTH going to have to deal with the emotional trauma that going to a Bangles gig will cause. [insert rasberry noise here]
Lots of Love,

The Bangles are gigging in Adelaide??? Ohh you lucky bitch. What I wouldn't do to throw tomatoes at them for making some of the crappiest 80's music...and I LOOOVE the 80's, you know I do.
ReplyDeleteWhen they talk about the fabulousness of the 80's, I think of the Bangles.
ReplyDeleteI used to (and still do) want to look as pretty as Sussanah - she looks so garddam fabulous - and aged so beautifully.
Oh hello there Monkey Boy, you are one lucky man to have a woman like Panda. Happiness to you both.
.. and a fantastic gig it was. We took our unborn twins to two gigs during 2003 and they loved every placenta-shaking beat that came their way. My wife didn't so much.
