Eating bananas was a Helpful Thing. Got the blood sugar back up quickly, whilst providing the appropriate nutrients. I never really liked bananas before, but now... I've been eating several a day.
Until today, that is.
I dont know if it was because they were a little squishier than usual, or maybe its because I have a litter of guinea pigs in there, but those bananas had Somewhere Else To Be. I've gotta say, its a little difficult to drive a car in peak traffic when you're dry-wretching your toenails up.
I'm looking forward to being able to burp with confidence once again. Monkey Boy (O he who inhales bananas) promises to buy me a bucket for my birthday.
I'm so sorry! I had really bad morning sickness too. They say the sicker you are the better everything is going. Although, ralfing when you take a sip of water really sucks. I hope you don’t get to that point.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those people that have been lurking on your site. My DH and I tried for two years to conceive with no luck. Then when we stopped trying, Noah decided that he wanted to be here. It was super bad timing, but who cares? Right?
I wanted to tell you whine and bitch all you like about the evils of pregnancy, you deserve it, you are after all a pregnant woman. And believe me you can love that little thing inside of you and hate what it is doing to your body at the same time.
Oh, darlin'.... just hearing your accounts of nausea reminds me how truly HORRID I felt during my very brief pregnancy... it was puke, puke, puke all day long.... I'm so sorry...
ReplyDeleteI just hope that said b-day bucket is suitably fabulous... with glittery rhine stones, zebra stripes, and psychodelic camouflage or some such thing... oh... and with a slot on the side for a pack of wet-naps.
