Its not enough that we're putting Dr Clomid's kids through uni. The Vet's offspring need subsidising too.
Prognosis: she'll be fine and we'll be poor.
Oh poor kitty...
ReplyDeleteWe spend shitloads of money on our doggie too - he needs to see the vet all the time because of:
1) skin problems
2) rash
3) he lost too much weight
4) he gained too much weight
5) his ears are itchy
6) he's limping...etc
From the way my vet is charging, it's like raising a child and sending him/her to private school and voilin lessons.
I fully believe that I paid for the new windows at our vet's office for my last bird. He died while in their treatment (he was very ill) and and so they waived half the bill... gee thanks...
ReplyDeleteEvery time I go I wonder how long it would take me to become a veterinarian. And how quickly I would earn the tuition money back in my own practice.
Get well soon (and cheaply), Squirmy!
ps Thanks for the link! I've added you to my 'Babes who Blog' list.
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty kitty. I have a weakness for torties - got one myself.
ReplyDeleteHope she feels better.

That's the consequence that we have to accept for taking care of pets. Thank goodness that my dog Ashley got better after a few days. The medical bill that I got was not that high. :)
