Who put that cupboard there?

Last night, while attempting to show off my brilliance in finding versatile storage solutions for all our crap, I broke my little toe.

Broke it.

Kicking a cupboard.

How the hell am I supposed to go on a spending rampage in baby stores when I can barely hobble to the loo?

How can something so small hurt sooooooo much?

Will I fit into my funky new shoes now my foot is swollen?

In order to alleviate the pain, I am now going to medicate myself by the adding of chocolate milk to me.

  1. Yikes! So sorry to hear that. I've never broken a toe but I've done my fingers, and the word that describes it the most is INCONVENIENT.

How are you going to shop? Easy. The internet.

I shouldn't laugh, but your description of the event was hilarious.

Ain't nothin' goes better with a big pregnant belly than a limp.

  8. You poor thing! i've broken two toes wtice - the same ones, once walking into a wall and the last time bumping into the bloody oil heater. VERY NOT NICE! Then when I went in for a x-ray the nice Dr wanted to pull the plaster off WHILE it was still glued to my fingers (I'd immobilised them VERY TIGHTLY), she said it wouldn't hurt a bit - and then started pulling. I yelped and grabbed her wrist and told her she was very welcome to do it when she broke hers but releasing mine was going to involve copious amounts of hydrogen peroxyde, thank you, and so it was. Doctors can be the pits. In case anyone doubted.

Good news is, it heals fast. And yes, Lorem is right, online shopping. Yummy.

Comments make blogging a conversation, rather than mere self-indulgent navel-gazing. Look at that big empty space down there...just waiting for your thoughts.
